Rev. Isaac Nsiah-Afriyie is a Pharmacist from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology with more than twenty-three-year experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. He has experience in the design, manufacturing and marketing of pharmaceutical products, medical and pharmaceutical presentation and detailing, training and managing of pharmaceutical support. He is also a member of the Pharmaceutical Association of Ghana. He is also Qualified Person Responsible for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV), as a result, he oversees the safety of all the marketed pharmaceutical products for which IILPL has marketing authorization.
Rv. Isaac Nsiah-Afriyie, until his appointment as General Manager for Marketing he was the head of Safety Monitoring (Pharmacovigilance) Department and oversees that the production of the IV fluids of the IIPLC meet both internal and external safety and quality management systems of the national regulatory agencies such as Food and Drugs Authority, Ghana Standards Authority, Environmental Protection Agency and Pharmacy Council. Further, the incumbent ensures that all products of the IIPLC meet West African sub-regional pharmaceutical testing, standards and certification both in Ghana and West Africa sub-region.
