Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the continuing commitment by business to behave ethically and contribute to economic development while improvingthe quality of life of the workforce and their families as well as the local community and society at large.

At IIL, we conduct transparent business operations based on market mechanism within the legal, ethical & social framework with aims to attain the mission reflected by our vision. Our CSR activities also consider the interests of our external & internal stakeholders like customers, employees, vendors, shareholders, society, government etc. and ecological & ethical considerations in all aspects of operations.

During the year, the company supported several NGO requests including Citi FM's Easter Orphanage Programme. The company also receieved a request from Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital leading to the refurbishment of the Pharmacy Department Counselling Center of the Hospital.



Mr. Edward Bayeta Issaka is in charge of the Marketing Department. He holds a Diplome Superieur in French awarded by the Universite Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar, Senegal. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in French and Economics and subsequently a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing, both awarded by the Kwame Nkrumah University of Technology (KNUST).

He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) UK. He has over two (2) decades of experience in the marketing of tangible goods as well as services having previously worked for Trade Fair Company for eight (8) years before joining the company in 2006.
